Harvest Hues: A Creative Floral Workshop in Salt Lake City
There’s something truly special about designing with the colors of autumn — the richness, the warmth, the feeling of transition in the air. This season, I hosted an autumn-themed floral mentorship in downtown Salt Lake City, where we gathered to celebrate the art of floral design and the beauty of fall’s fleeting magic.
Set in a charming studio surrounded by city lights and mountain views, the mentorship was designed to guide floral artists and aspiring designers through every stage of creating thoughtful, seasonal arrangements. We worked with fall flowers like dahlias, amaranthus, and toffee roses, pairing them with textured foliage and golden tones that captured the essence of October in Utah.
Throughout the day, we explored floral design techniques that emphasized movement, natural form, and color layering — all while diving deeper into creative storytelling and the business of floral artistry. Beyond the blooms, it was a day of conversation, connection, and creative renewal — exactly what I hope every mentorship provides.
Downtown Salt Lake City provided the perfect backdrop — crisp autumn air, cozy cafés nearby, and a creative energy that felt both grounding and inspiring. Watching each attendee bring their unique style to life reminded me why I love hosting these intimate, hands-on experiences.
If you’re a florist or creative looking for a floral workshop or mentorship in Salt Lake City, keep an eye out for future sessions. Each one is designed to spark inspiration, refine your craft, and connect you with a community that celebrates the beauty of flowers in every season.
